• Local Artists primarily refers to artists and writers living in the Central Valley and Central Coast of California. Art-Tique welcomes announcements that agree with our stated aims and purposes. Mission Statement: Art-Tique’s Local Art Events Newsletter is a free on-line monthly publication to assist artists and writers of California’s Central Valley/Central Coast to find places to show/sell their work, make connections with local peer groups, find classes, workshops and tools that help develop artistic and writing skills and the business side of their work. PFD copies art posted on the web site: www.art-tique.org Printed copies are usually available at the general Meetings of ACA CAG, Allards Art supply in Fresno and the Kingsburg Arts Center in Kingsburg.    Criteria for the Art Events Newsletter

  ·         Items must be in word format and include dates, times, pricing (if applicable), and contact information. Items must be received by the 25^th of the month preceding the newsletter. (i.e. an announcement for March must be received by the 25^th of February.)

  ·         Types of Items accepted:

  o   Artists and writers Group Meetings, Demonstrations & Open Shows

  o   Advertisements from customers seeking to set up commissioned work from individual artists

  o   Classes

  o   Galleries, bookstores seeking artists and writers

  o   Workshops

  o   Links to helpful sites, blogs or internet supplies

  o   Individual Artist, Writer or Art Organization and Multi-Artist Gallery Profiles

  o   Guest Blogs or technique information

  Criteria for Pdf copies submitted directly to members via e-mail (must be received by the 25^th of the month PRECEDING the event) i.e. for the June newsletter items should have been received by July 25^th.

  ·         Pdf prospectus for art shows, workshops or writing contests

  ·         Membership applications for organizations related to art or writing

  ·         Flyers advertising group sales and events

  ·         Announcements or invitations about solo art shows and book signings

  ·         Items received after the deadline for the Art Event Newsletter will occasionally be sent out as a special announcement
